Let Your Light Shine!

Happy Focus on God's Word Friday! Gooood morning wise in Christ!  Proverbs 4:7 shows us that seeking wisdom is not enough, we must desire it at all costs! It truly is the greatest treasure we can mine and we need not look further than the Bible to find it in abundance! Do we see the value of God's Word? I believe we will not just in the readings, but only in the obsession to obey God's Word! The chapter is filled with the promises of the benefits of wisdom taught by David to His son Solomon. This is definitely why when asked by God what Solomon wanted..He chose wisdom over all.

2 Protection 4:6 Wisdom preserves from harm

3 Honor & Promotion 4:8 Elevates character & influence

4 Grace & Beauty 4:9 Adorns with dignity & favor

5 Long Life 4:10 Extends and enriches days

6 Guidance 4:11–12 Directs into right paths

7 Protection from Evil 4:14–15 Avoids wicked influence

8 Light 4:18 Illuminates the just path

9 Health 4:20–22 Brings healing and vitality

10 Guarded Heart 4:23 Keeps inner life pure

11 Moral Clarity 4:24–27 Produces disciplined living.

Today let's sell all we have and buy the treasure of God's wisdom. May our Father in Heaven and His will be the center of our hearts desire! God so loves you...gary....Proverbs 4:7  Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
