Let Your Light Shine!

Happy Drink and Thirst No More Tuesday!  Gooood morning forgiven servants of the Most High God! Isaiah 44 tells of a wayward people who are blinded from God. They make gods to themselves out of trees, which God created and provided for their shelter and warmth. They bow down to the creation rather than the Creator. Still God chooses the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. He looks down at the abomination and sees the ignorance of His chosen. He has mercy and grace and washes them completely. He pours His Spirit up on them to open their eyes and to give understanding to their hearts. Though this brings great shame, God atones their sin! On a rugged "tree" Jesus died for their sins. Through Jesus God gifts the blind, dead and lame with Living water!  He brings dead bones to Life!  Today, may we bend our knee to know other! Who is like our God? He alone is worthy to be praised!
