Let Your Light Shine!

Happy For Once Were Some of You Friday! Goood morning Children of God! Ephesians 5 started with a "Therefore".  This means it is what we should be, because of the proceeding chapters. They mention the new identity we have, because we are born again in Jesus. "Therefore", BE as Christ. We are to imitate or follow the Lord and to grow as His Children into His Way! This means we need to put off the old man and put on the new man in Jesus. The chapter goes on to describe the character of darkness versus the character of Light, which we now are in. ALL Christians need to  READ THE ENTIRE CHAPTER and make their election sure and not be deceived in our lusts! Coming to Jesus means laying down our old life and very dark ways and then picking up the cross and new yoke we have as children of the Most High! There is a recognition, transition, and imitation that takes place in the believer! I have been redeemed and am a New Creature in Christ! God so loves you! ... gary ...
